Roadway to Pride & Prosperity for Maharashtra
Expansion of infrastructure is important to accelerate the process of overall development of the country. The contribution of this, in the journey of Maharashtra to date, is huge. To speed up the development process, the state government is planning to connect Nagpur and Mumbai with a length of 701 km. The Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg is an ambitious project of the people of the state as well as the government.
For the overall socio-economic development of the state and to seek new employment opportunities for the local population along the expressway, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has conceptualized the project.
The Hindu Hruday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Highway will be connecting to the major markets of Nagpur, Aurangabad, and Mumbai due to the harmonious network of various agricultural products and industrialization in the state.

The Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg Project comprises of a total of 5 packages, of which the first package rolls out in the Vidarbha region. Package 5 include Thane district.
The construction of Samrudhhi Mahamarg is going on in 16 sections. The section is named as ‘Construction Package’. To maintain the good speed of work and proper work management, a total of 16 construction packages are made, each having around 40 to 45 Kms.
