The Samruddhi Mahamarg was divided into 16 parts to enable speedy completion of the work. Let us understand these 16 divisions through this blogâĶ
In order to disseminate the information to the respective stakeholders, the Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg was divided district-wise into 5 packages, district-wise. Package 1 included districts Nagpur and Wardha. Package 2 included districts Amravati, Washim and Buldhana. Package 3 included Jalna and Aurangabad districts. Package 4 had Ahmendnagar and Nasik districts while Package 5 consisted of Thane district.
In order to complete the execution speedily, the administration has divided the work appropriately. Taking into consideration the topography and geography of the districts through which the Samruddhi Mahamarg passes, as well as the nature of work in each district, the 5 packages mentioned above are further divided into 16 divisions.
Package 1 â Nagpur and Wardha
This package has 2 divisions. The first division has around 28 kilometers and the second, approximately 60 kilometers of the Mahamarg.
Package 2 â Amravati, Washim and Buldhana
This package has 5 divisions, with 73, 54, 42, 36 and 51 kilometers stretch of the Mahamarg in each division respectively.
Package 3 â Jalna and Aurangabad
This package that lies in Marathwada region was sub-divided into 3 divisions and includes 42, 54 and 57 kilometers of the Mahamarg in each division respectively.
Package 4 â Ahmednagar and Nasik
The Package 4 consisting of these 2 districts has further been divided into 3 divisions. Two stretches of approximately 45 kilometers each and one stretch of approximately 29 kilometers are in these divisions.
Package 5 â Thane
Package 5 consisting of Thane district has been sub-divided into 3 divisions, each having 13, 28 and 37 kilometers length of the Mahamarg respectively.
Thus, the 5 packages were divided into 16 divisions. The work in these divisions will soon be allocated to different companies through tender process that has already been initiated.
