While giving up oneâs land for the Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg Project, it is necessary to have a completed Search Report. What is the idea behind this Search Report and what is its importance? Read MoreâĶ
In order to ensure that no questions are raised about the land being purchased under the Samruddhi Mahamarg project, it is necessary to have a completed Search Report for each such piece of land. Has the Search Report been duly completed for the relevant land being purchased for the Samruddhi Mahamarg scheme? If not, the MSRDC had appointed a special team of lawyers to carry out work such as completion of the said Search Reports. These lawyers had taken the land owners into confidence and were helping them prepare the Search Report. In whose name is the relevant land registered, in whose name was it previously registered? A similar land history for the past 50 years was being checked. Who were the landowners during the last 50 years for the relevant piece of land? Have any transactions previously been carried out in relation to the land? All such entries can be found in the Search Report. The purchase process becomes easier once all these aspects have been properly checked.
While purchasing the lands for the purpose of this scheme, it was observed that a lot of landowners had not registered some of the relevant details, or nor properly registered some of the relevant details with the authorities. On realizing this, such land owners were guided by the village communicators and were told to take legal advice from the lawyers appointed by the MSRDC for the purpose. Post this, many landlords duly completed their Search Reports with the help of the lawyers and facilitated the purchase process.
