After the announcement of Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg, in the initial phase of this project, it was understood by MSRDC that due to lack of information, there was some resistance for the project from the rural areas.
MSRDC has always strived to protect the biodiversity and avoid any destruction of the forest reserves of Katepurna, Karanja Sohol and Tansa forest reserves through which the Mahamarg will pass.
Under the Maharashtra Samruddhi Corridor project, after the successful completion of the land measurement activity, the land acquisition process is under way since July 2017.
