The Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg Project has painted an assured picture of how the Vidarbha and Marathwada regions will directly get connected to metropolitan Mumbai through the scheme.

The second package out of the total five packages in the Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg project commences from Amravati district.

The proposed Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg is divided into five packages. Package 1 of the project includes Nagpur and Wardha districts.

The Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg Project comprises of a total of 5 packages, of which the first package rolls out in the Vidarbha region. Package 1 includes Nagpur and Wardha districts.

The proposed Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg is divided into five packages. Package 2 of the project includes Amravati, Washim and Buldhana districts.

While finalizing the alignment of the Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg, the concerned departments thought about maintaining environmental balance.

After the announcement of Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg, in the initial phase of this project, it was understood by MSRDC that due to lack of information, there was some resistance for the project from the rural areas.

MSRDC has always strived to protect the biodiversity and avoid any destruction of the forest reserves of Katepurna, Karanja Sohol and Tansa forest reserves through which the Mahamarg will pass.

Under the Maharashtra Samruddhi Corridor project, after the successful completion of the land measurement activity, the land acquisition process is under way since July 2017.
